Retired after 20 years of service! He was first elected in 2002 and served as Board President and Vice President. He received the Golden Bell Award for his service to the school district. He is an alumnus of San Rafael High School where he played four sports and played football for the University of California, Berkeley, earning All-Pac-10 honors. He was a defensive lineman in the National Football League for six years with the Houston Oilers, Cincinnati Bengals and Seattle Seahawks. He was inducted into the Marin County Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004. Professionally he is a Principal at BEI Construction, a facilities and technology infrastructure company. “Natu Tuatagaloa is a valued member of the BEI Construction team,” says BEI Construction President Mike Rantz. “We congratulate him for receiving the much-deserved Golden Bell Award.
