Wayne ManuWayne is originally from California and attended Paramount High School. He attended Long Beach City College, and received a football scholarship to Southern Illinois University. There, he earned a degree which led him to become a Social Studies Teacher in St. Louis, Missouri, and Oregon. He also worked in Alternative Education.

Wayne is currently a businessman and an assistant football coach at Alta High School near Salt Lake City, Utah. He has enjoyed working with many Pacific Islander students, including Samoans, Tongans, Marshall Islanders and Chuukese. He also coached track. Wayne helped to establish the NPIEN Utah Chapter. He encourages students to “Be themselves and share love and concern with others.”
