Iulietta Chan Tung, originally from Western Samoa, she came to Evergreen Valley College (EVC) straight from Oak Grove High School. She will be transferring from EVC to UC Santa Cruz majoring in Business. A member of the Associate Student Ambassadors, ASPIRE (Tutoring in English and Math) Program, member of EVC Honors program and an active member of EVC Pacific Islander Club (Polynesian dance performance at the All-College –Conference in Santa Clara, COSMOS SJCC fashion show opener, and APAA of SJCEVCED. She received a $1000 NPIEN Transfer Scholarship.
 
Alotutusa Sau is originally from American Samoa and lives in California with her aunt and uncle. She was home schooled from grade school to high school. She had originally worked on a degree in criminal law and after a couple semesters, she realized that teaching was her calling. She does a great deal of volunteer work with youngsters at her church. A member of her church choir, she has had the opportunity to enrich many lives with her beautiful voice. A proud member of our Pacific Islander Club, Tusa sang the National Anthem at her graduation here at Evergreen Valley College. She was also featured at the COSMOS SJCC fashion show and APAA (Asian Pacific American Association) dinner and our college luau. Tusa’s outstanding grade point average has also earned her the NPIEN Transfer Scholarship of $1000.   Tusa will be transferring to San Jose State University and majoring in Education/Teaching.
