NPIEN salutes Congressman Underwood for his vision in sponsoring the
first Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander Higher Education Summit in
Washington D.C. in 2001. This gathering of educators from throughout the
nation and the Pacific served as the springboard to form NPIEN.
Congressman Underwood remains one of our most important supporters.
